We have been making music producing machines for years now. From Speaker Necklaces to the Temple of Boom. Now Comes the BoomCase.
The Self Powered Portable Suitcase Stereo system that works with your iPod/iPhone or any device with a headphone plug. TheBoomCase will last 10+ hours on a single charge (Charger Included). In addition to running on batteries, The BoomCase can also be plugged in when the party goes inside. To save on weight, you can opt for a plug-in only version.
I am an audio-nut. You can be assured I make each case produce the best sound possible. I shy away from plastic or thin suitcases because of their not so great acoustic qualities. Mainly I use cases that are built with wood and leather because of the superior sound they produce. Read a recent Interview here to learn more: cNet Interview
Each case is hand made in California, USA. Options include: Ipod/USB Charger, Extra Batteries, TV Screens, Custom Paint, Solar chargers and more.

While Ive been making portable music machines since 2000, I’ve drawn some inspiration from the man selling stereos and bumping his homemade BriefCase Stereo at the FleaMarket in Sacramento, The Person who did the Various Store Displays in San Francisco that involved vintage cases and speakers, The VW Beetle Scene who has been making suitcase stereos for ages and the original “BoomCase” such as the “Wildcat” by GE. I was not the first to put speakers in a suitcase, nor have I ever claimed it. Look at the links above, Guy In Chicago, neither were you…
Our “Temple of Boom”:

Very cool idea, I’d love to check one out sometime
Yeah really nice!!! Congratulations Mr Simo!!!
Very cool idea..
Would you build one for a customer from a case sent to you by the customer? These things need to be in a museum.
Yeah for sure!
I have done this before.
Just send a few pics of the case and we can get started.
Email me : SiMo@mrsimo.com
I adore your cases, Mr. Simo & team.
Considering the coolness and the eco-friendliness of it is even better.
Keep on keeping on !
Cheers,
LP
I love you Mr. Simo! And team.
I have a number of old cases that I would love to see put to good use. How can I get them to you?

Just got my first Boomcase delivered and holy crap I am a happy camper.
Can wait for the delivery now of the very first Tick Tock Box bought out by Mr Simo…..
This is amazing! A friend and I have built small speaker cabinets, but nothing with this style. I tour with a band, Lake Folk out of Ann Arbor, MI. I would be interested in having some cases made for us to play at festivals and outdoor/farmer’s market concerts. Nice work!
Thank you
Let us know how we can help you acquire a BoomCase. We love seeing these in the hands of musicians!
